Meeting critical terminology right is one of the most difficult aspects of any translation project. Failure to use the right terminology can have serious consequences, causing confusion, damage to valuable brands and delays in critical projects.

The Cultures Connection terminology process allows us to quickly and accurately focus on critical terminology and ensure that it gets special attention.

Any existing documentation or glossaries of terms relevant to a translation should be provided at the start of a project. This enables translators to maintain your in-house style and/or terminology. Cultures Connection always applies and constantly updates its glossaries for each market segment. Time permitting, client/project specific glossaries can be created before the translation process, which are then approved by the client.

Our translators then translate your texts within our platform. The translator is automatically prompted to use the pre-translated terminology stored in the server whenever a pre-translated term appears in the original text.

This focused and careful approach ensures that critical terminology is translated correctly and then used in a consistent way across a series of translations.
